Is this Arsenal's strongest team for start of season?
/Arsenal defend their Amsterdam Tournament crown this weekend in the final two pre-season games before the new season starts in earnest next week, so I think we can expect to see Arsene Wenger tinkering with what will be his strongest team today and tomorrow.
The bad news ahead of our Champions League qualifier against FC Twente next Wednesday is that Abou Diaby has picked up a knock that will rule him out - and possibly out of the Premier League opener against West Brom a week tomorrow.
But with the Gunners set to face Ajax tonight and Sevilla tomorrow evening, just who do you want to see making the starting 11 in Le Gaffer's thoughts?
The make-up of the Arsenal midfield is the real uncertainty for me, as I'm still unsure who Wenger's first choice for the Mathieu Flamini defensive midfielder role is. Personally I'd go for either Denilson or Alexandre Song, but with the latter off on duty with Cameroon at the Olympics, the field is narrowed down for me.
I'm not Emmanuel Eboue's biggest fan, but for some reason Arsene Wenger is and for that reason I think the Ivorian will again start for the Gunners a lot this season, with players such as Theo Walcott and Mark Randall replacing him for an injection of pace when opposition legs start to get weary...
